Large trout from Elevenmile Reservoir regularly inhabit this stretch of water, but fish of all size are an angler’s delight here.

Anglers will find some of largest trout on earth here, as well as some of the most brutal weather to be experienced. Why look for lake-run fish in the river when you can fish it from the source? Spinney, Antero, and Elevenmile will keep you occupied for nearly a lifetime. Angler’s are able to enjoy this resource by boat, kayak, or by simply walking the shoreline!

Head south for another great winter tailwater fishery hosted on the Arkansas river. Pueblo is also a great choice in the warmer months when the flows permit safe walk & wade opportunities. With a plethora of species, fish of gargantuan sizes live here.
